Thank you so much for showing Joyce & me around your Hostal when visited Barcelona last month. You will recall that we stayed there in June 1961 when your grandfather owned the Hostal! We had a very pleasant week in Barcelona and spent much time looking at the Gaudi architecture (it was very much out of favour when we were there during the Fracno regime).
I remembered the way from Plaza Cataluna to the Hostal (47 years earlier) but did not realise that the names of the roads has reverted to the pre Franco names and you were in Pau Claris.
However, we found you and we thank you for your warm welcome and for showing us the room we must have occupied all those years ago. If we return to Barcelona, we shall certainly contact you.
